What it is

A partnership, not a discount.

Models in Practice is a structured training programme run by MObyJC and the Injector Academy. Each year, our developing injectors complete supervised training sessions to refine their skills. They need real people to train on. Our members are those real people.

As a registered model, you give us your time and your trust. In return, you experience considered, unhurried aesthetic treatments at a fraction of private clinic pricing, in an environment built around safety, education, and clinical oversight.

Every session is delivered by a developing injector working alongside a supervising Nurse Practitioner. Every treatment is preceded by clinical assessment. Every outcome is documented with care.

This is not a discount programme. It is a partnership.

Frequently Asked

Common questions about Models in Practice.

Who delivers the treatments?

Treatments are delivered by developing injectors completing supervised training, under the direct oversight of a supervising Nurse Practitioner who is present for every session.

Are the treatments safe?

The same products, techniques, and clinical standards are used as in any aesthetic clinic in Aotearoa. The difference is the pace and the supervision. Sessions are longer, more consultative, and supported by a Nurse Practitioner overseeing every step.

Am I guaranteed a specific treatment?

No. Matching to specific training sessions depends on clinical suitability, the treatment focus of the session, and training calendar availability. The supervising Nurse Practitioner has final say on whether a treatment proceeds.

How many sessions will I get?

Members are typically matched to a minimum of three and a maximum of four training sessions per annual membership, subject to clinical suitability and training calendar availability.

What happens if my screening doesn't approve me?

If our supervising Nurse Practitioner determines you are not clinically suitable for the programme, your full membership fee is refunded.

Can I withdraw photography consent?

Yes. Photography consent is separate from your treatment consent and can be withdrawn at any time without affecting your membership.

Can I cancel my membership?

Yes. You can cancel your membership at any time. Sessions you have already attended are not refundable, and the remaining portion of your annual fee is non-refundable once your medical screening has been approved by our Nurse Practitioner.

When and where are sessions held?

Sessions are run during weekday and weekend daytime hours, scheduled by our Injector Academy training calendar. They are held at JC Injectables in South Auckland and occasionally at other approved Injector Academy training venues. Specific dates and venues are communicated when you are invited to apply for a session.
